After a while, here I am, connecting again to my youthalive family via our own youthalive cyber space- our place in the worldwide web. For many months I have been hooked at facebook completely forgetting or ignoring our own sites. Now I'm back. Dahil ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan... hindi makararating sa paroroonan.

Campus Ministry As A Fairytale

YouthAlive Organizational Meeting
AG Urdaneta

An activity was given to the pips who attended the said meeting with the instruction: "Write a fairytale with the title 'Ministry As A Fairytale.' "
And now here are the tales of might that came out of each creative Young Person's mind...

Tale 101
Once upon a time, there were four zealous students of PSU who wanted to reach out and bring their campus mates to Christ. They started sharing Jesus to a few students, and alas! They had the power and were covered by God’s glory. Then they shared Christ to a few more, then to their whole department, and to other departments. In the process, these four students faced some difficulties, yet they did not let the foe hinder their ministry and they kept on fighting and fighting…Yeah! Fighting to bring young people to Christ. They began their Bible study sessions in rooms, then in the halls, and spread to the library, the canteen and to every corner of their campus.
Revival began… Lives were renewed… Souls were saved… Until every student, instructor and even the School Dean accepted Jesus. All their sweat, persecutions and embarrassment were worth it! Until time passed by and the PSU Urdaneta Campus became the first ever Church-University. The four pioneers-Ariane, Brian, Isabel, and Joey- received their crowns on Judgment Day… And they lived happily ever, ever, ever, lasting after!

Tale 102
Once upon a time , there was a group of Christian students who were aiming to make a vow to live a Christian life and influence other students. Every week they would gather and have a small fellowship. Once, in one of their gatherings, the leader said: “We are not students that happened to be Christians, but we are Christians that happened to be students.”
“Yes I agree.” One of them replied.
From there, they started evangelizing in every corner of their campus, to every non-Christian. They started off with the four of them, and God weekly doubled their number. And even when the founding members graduated, the ministry did not end and the fairytale never ended too…

Tale 103
Once upon a time, there was a student who was faithfully in love with Jesus . This student saw that not all of his campus mates believed in Jesus, so, by the prompting of God, this student thought of a way to make Jesus known to all of his campus mates. He shared the Word of God to his non-Christian friends, and these friends of his became Christians and they took their part in sharing God’s Word. Now this group of Christians realized the importance of God in their lives and in lives of others. Therefore they continued serving the LORD by sharing His Word. God made them grow in number, their ministry never ended and each one of them lived happily ever after!!

Tale 104
CAMPUS MINISTRY AS A FAIRYTALE (ang pamatay)
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away was a small hidden village called “Urdaneta”. In that place stood an old school named “Lubic Academy”. There, also lived four ordinary youngsters, living a routinary life of waking up, going to school, eating and sleeping. Until one day, on their way to school, the four saw the heavens open and flashing lightning came down and struck them one by one living a mark on their arms that read “LIGHT”. At that moment, they realized that a task was given to them—To live a life of bringing “light”, to right the wrong, to be models and to change their academy.
As soon as they reached their academy, they started off with their task. At every vacant period they would talk to some school mates and share to them Jesus, every person they talked to believed and accepted Jesus, until time passed by and they saw the need to conduct Bible Study sessions, for they saw that their group was getting bigger and bigger each day. The LORD made them grow.
After a semester the four pioneers split their group into four, because now they were enormously gigantic. MarYed led the first group, Junua at the second, Marjon at the third and Posh took hold of the fourth group. Trials and persecutions were ever-present, but nothing blocked them, for the LORD was with them, and they lived joyfully, peacefully, happily ever after…

Fairytales ain't true ya'll know, but we, YouthAlive can make a part, if not all of it come to fullfilment,'coz our God does not have the word "impossible" in His vocabulary..

My Daddie Ain't Home

My Daddie's Words- Shared to everyone : " I gave ya'll everything ya need, I made it all known to you, now go out to the world and do what ya'll wanna do, go wherever ya'll wanna go, but when ya fall, I ain't gonna be there to catch ya..."
This was the only rule that I took seriously...
Well, as far as my brain goes way back, this was the only rule to follow at our home.. it might sound too general but, if you dig deep into that single rule, it might be the rule of all rules at a typical home in the Middle East..
I guess "The Rule" had it all, warnings, precautions, love, curfews, do's and don'ts all packed in one... And "The Rule" was all I had while growing up as a average kid on the block, but the best part of "The Rule" was the " i- ain't-gonna-catch-ya" part, because that part of "The Rule" gave no room for foolishness and irresponsibility and that was the best thing about growing up. And my Daddie is the guy to thank for that. He made "The Rule", and now I shout:HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDIE!!!!

once,all villager decided to pray for the rain to drop,on the day fo prayer all the people gathered and only ONE boy came with an umbrella.

ARE YOU BUSY?

The busy of some people steal their time going to the church. This is the one main reason that obstruct them in attending on the Sunday service and other activities for God.

God said "remember the sabbath day to keep it holy"(Luke 20:8),"but in the seventh day is the sabbath day of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates".(Luke 20:10)

But most people ignore this special day for God to give praise and worship in him. They spent and give much more time and value to their works and things that made them very busy, instead of serving it to God for his eternal love in us.

God want us to "seek ye first his kingdom and his righteousness so that all the things that we need will be given unto us".(Matthew 6:33)

God only can satisfy our deepest needs....

"The busy works or things that hinder us into having a relationship with God are made by evil plan". So that if the busy is in you pray for it and leave all your hindrances.

Do you want to know the meaning of "BUSY" by using the acronyms?

Walking Reflection

After my duty, I decided to walk because I did not budget my money in buying meriendas, so i got short in fare. So one thing to compensate the fare is to wlak to the jeep stop. When I was walking, I was glancing the overpass far away because it is my indicator that i'm near. It was really far. At start, I felt that my burden on walking was added by seeing the overpass far away. But as i walk along the sideroad, I sang a praise song. "Yours is the kingdom..... ten ten ten.... ten ten ten.. King above Kings.... and so forth!" with matching air guitar and sound FX mouth lead with beats of feet walking added to the effect... I didn't notice that in few minutes I arrived already at the overpass... ride the jeep and went home safely

a very good divertions eh??? MORAL LESSON? budget your merienda! LOL, but i reflect that sometimes we are already complaining that we see a situation very far away that making us quit. But watch, as we ride to GOd, we didn't notice that He gives us strength! He also amazes us in wonderful way that He delivered us already in any situations in life we need help. GOD IS AWESOME! JUST RIDE THE TIDE OF JESUS!
